Halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento is the proud city of Vacaville which is a home to a number of endangered and rare species of plant life. It enjoys a Mediterranean type of climate and is best to visit ed during the days of Vacaville Fiesta Days which features the march of school bands and gymnasts, the electric car showcase and also other activities. To visit, other places include the Vacaville Premium Outlets and the Nut Tree close by. Every December, the city celebrates the Festival of Trees within the Ice skating rink and the Tree Lighting Ceremony is even more amazing where residents gather in the downtown to witness great trees illuminated in spectacular ways, enjoy the festive music and relish hot chocolate.
