Just outside the city limits of big city Davis is the petite settlement of El Macero. It was one of the most former settlements of rural south Davis and though it is technically not a part of Davis, you could drive down to El Macero for an excellent and rejuvenating view of the countryside. It comprises of a huge grand ranch and a golf course which is well equipped. Citizens of Davis often take a break from routine life and travel down to the golf course at El Macero for a break along with family and friends who take a time off exploring the pastoral charm of El Macero!
