Westport is one of the northernmost towns of the county and is a petite boasting town with a meager population. The town is tranquil, with breath-taking scenery and has proven to be an excellent escape from the hustles of a metro life. Lodging in Westport is certainly no issue here for you could find many campgrounds, decent inns and vacation rentals. Among the recreational activities, horseback riding, campsites and fishing are popular along with the Sinkyone State Park and the Westport-Union Landing State Beach. While the park renders striking scenery, the beach area is the ultimate sunset point. The town is also a home to one of the quirkiest annual events- ‘Great Rubber Ducky Race’; it’s awesome here in the truest spirits.
