Ornamented on the Sonoma Mountains foothills and located in between the towns of Petaluma and Cotati is an old historic town of Penngrove. In fact visitors stop by specifically in the town to praise the old rustic buildings and churches. The town once sat in the grove of olive trees and it was a famous center for egg and chicken farming. Activities to thrive on here include gallery browsing owing to the settlement of several fine artists residing here. For some outdoor entertainment, you could visit the Fairfield Osborn Preserve which is dedicated to the restoration and protection of natural communities as well as foster the ecological understanding through research and education! The preserve permits several activities including hiking and children’s programs!
