Albany is a small town located in the Alameda County. Originally called Ocean View, the town got incorporated in 1909 after its womenfolk confronted the drivers of garbage wagons to stop dumping the trash from Berkeley out here. Its topography includes two creeks, Codornices Creek on the south and Cerrito Creek on the north. Cerrito creek is also called Albany Hill. The key streets in Albany are San Pablo Avenue and Solano Avenue. Besides this, one can also visit the Albany Bulb and Eastshore State Park.
