Originally known as Kensington Park, the city is an unincorporated community situated on the East Bay side in Contra Costa County of the Bay Area. The city was centuries ago occupied by the Huichin tribe of the Ohlone clan. Today it boasts of places like Tilden Park which is a fun place for both kids and adults, Lake Anza and Blake Gardens.
