Union City is situated alongside Fremont and Hayward in Alameda County. The major streets here are the Alvarado Niles road and Dyer Street/Whipple Road It is a shoppers’ paradise with four major shopping points: Union Landing, El Mercado shopping centre , safety marketplace and four corners. Union Landing offers big-box stores while El-Mercado has an Asian theme. A large number of parks and sports fields are there in Union City.
