Bangor is the little unincorporated community in Butte County, located about 1.5miles from the Yuba County line. The town is elevated at a level of 761 feel about sea level and the actual residing community is snuggled in a shallow valley surrounding by rolling shiny hills. This town of Bangor was primarily founded as a mining boom-town and was hence named by the Lumbert Brothers. Decked on crossroads, the town of Bangor is a decent little town to head to if you are looking for relaxation mixed with a ting of modernity.
