Just 35 miles northeast of San Francisco is the junction of Napa County, the American Canyon. Bordered by the Napa River to the west and Sulphur springs Mountains to the east, Vallejo and Solano County to the south and the Napa County Airport to the north, the American Canyon is the second most populous city in the county. There are a number of activities one can enjoy in American County with the innumerous number of recreational activities, parks and gardens, the Philips West Aquatic Center, the Wetlands, the trails and open spaces, the skate park and much more.
