One of the oldest towns of California is the “bedroom” city of Antioch which plays a suburb to San Francisco, Oakland as well as Sacramento. A part of the Contra Costa County, Antioch is a home to 31 parks such as Contra Loma Regional Park, Antioch/Oakley Regional Shoreline and the Black Diamonds Mines Regional Park. The city also boasts of its rich taste in art and culture through the El Campanil Theatre, Antioch Historical Society Museum, the Lynn House Gallery and also the Rivertown Art Centre.
