Formally known as the West Pittsburg is now the city of Bay point. It is in fact a suburb located in the eastern Contra Costa County and borders the Suisan Bay. It was previously referred to as the Bella Vista and today accommodates juts about 20,000 people. The Bay Point Library of the Contra Costa County Library is located in Bay Point. One treasure that Bay Point is certainly proud of is the Ambrose Park.
