Snuggled in the north-west of Contra Costa County is a petite town of Bethel Island which was formerly popular as Bethell. The city is characterized by warm temperatures during the summers and faces chilly winters. Sightseeing’s include the Tugs AKA Boathouse and the Round Valley Regional Preserve.
