A pretty popular recreation spot, Camp Sacramento is a permittee of the El Dorado National Forest. It basically lies in the Sayles Flat region of El Dorado National Forest and is almost a 14 acre property owned by the US Forest Service! This huge property houses about 61 rustic little cabins in various sizes. One certainly must not expect running tap water and electricity in these cabins; there are rural but charming in their own ways. The property also comprises of a dining hall, a camp store, a lodge, baseball and volleyball courts, campfire spot and a large art & craft area. The Camp Sacramento offers both mini and four weeklong sessions during the camping seasons. While the minicamp lasts for 4 days and 3 nights, the larger package includes camping for 6 days and 5 nights. If you need a break from the sophisticated lifestyle, camping here could be a good escape into nature’s rustic charm!
