Named after a Mexican soldier Don Guillermo Castro, Castro Valley is one of the most populous unincorporated areas in the entire state of California. A city in Alameda County, Castro Valley provides for some scenic time spent enjoying the bountiful nature. It has various creeks to its credit- Eden, Chabot, Crow, Bolinas and Kelly Canyon to name a few. Also it was one of the sites considered for the “Eichler Homes” and has over 10, 000 such inviting abodes.
