The Land of Redwoods and Rain lies very much here in the Sonoma County and that is the cuddled town of Cazadero. Very close by to the city of Guerneville, that is just 12 miles away, Cazadero occupies a thin strip of the land in Austin Canyon. The town is certainly the best place for nature lovers owing to the wide variety of flora and fauna thriving here. The Austin Creek is wonderful, colorful and bright. Very close by is the Russian River where one could enjoy several water sports such as fishing or canoeing when the weather is apt and dry. The residents are warm and friendly and you would surely love to stay here amidst the woods and rains. There are few restaurants around the town but lodging would be best in the nearby town of Guerneville.
