Cuddled in the extreme southeastern corner of the Yolo County is Clarksburg, located on the River Sacramento. This town is definitely one of the most exceptional small towns in California carrying a bubbly community within its borders. The history of this town talks of an Old Sugar Mill which is today the center of development in terms of new properties as well as a modern wine tasting and production facility! The Bogle Winery is today the most prominent of the Clarksburg appellation vintners for their wines are few of the leading ones to be even served in the White House! Buildings and structures throughout the town are worth a minute eye for they carry a history of being constructed by the famous architect William Raymond Yelland. You might also find the Holland Market pretty interesting; though it is native and local, it does carry a true spirit of California!
