The largest city of San Mateo County is undoubtedly the one that stands tall in the northern corner of the county, the city of Daly. The city is culturally and recreationally rich. The Cow Palace Arena Grounds that straddle with the San Franciscan Border is the home to the Annual Grand National Rodeo, Horse and Stock Show. It is great and fun to be in the city during this time. There are several golf courses too which serve as great options for recreation along with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area which includes the Thornton Beach. The beach accessibility enables thrilling activities such as paragliding and hand gliding. The Giammona pool and Jefferson Pool are the two indoor pools that not only provide swimming lessons but also aquatic recreation! And shopping is the spotlight of the city. The Serramonte Center and Westlake Shopping Center are Daly City’s and San Francisco’s best centers!
