One of the few sophisticated cities in the grand Yolo County is Davis which is the largest city and certainly the most magnificent in the county. Located at a distance of just 11 miles from Sacramento and 72 miles northeast of San Francisco, Davis predominantly lies in the huge valley of Sacramento while it is surrounded by towns like Dixon, Woodland and Winters. What is amazing here in Davis is that the topography of the town is majorly flat and that is a great opportunity for bicyclists. In fact it does a number of bike trails and you are surely going to have a smooth and longing ride on them. The climate is just perfect and if you wish to indulge in its ardent culture, you could visit the city during festivals like the Whole Earth Festival or the Picnic Day. Additionally, while at Davis, you could also visit the Mondavi Center (famous theatrical center), the US Davis Arboretum, the Davis Farmers Market as well as the Toad Tunnel! You would also find pretty handsome restaurants and posh accommodations here in Davis!
