A unification of five communities (Mission San Jose, Niles, Irvington, Centerville and Warm Springs), Fremont is situated on the southern side of SF city and is known for its proximity to the Silicon Valley. It has a twin town status with cities like Fukaya in Japan, Jaipur in India and Lipa city in Philippines. Few tourist attractions of the city include the water park-Aqua Adventures, Mission Peak Regional Preserve and the Ardenwood Historic Farm.
