Formerly popular as Johntown, Garden Valley is a little unincorporated community ornamented on the Johntown Creek and is approximately 6.25 miles north northwest of Chili Bar. This small but beautifully landscaped town is popular for its horse clubs and staging areas. The Area Horse Clubs include the El Dorado Equestrian Trails Foundation, the Divide Horseman’s Association as well as the For Auburn Lake Trails Residents- the two additional horse clubs in Garden Valley. Public staging areas include the Garden Valley Staging, the Pilot Hill Staging and the Georgetown Airport Staging! A handsome little place to spend a day full of adventure and fun!
