Now, take a ride into a fertile Ione valley, Ione is an agricultural hub unlike many other communities which were found in the Gold Mining. You are going through a well established town of history that prospered after the Gold Rush founding. It was earlier known as ’Bedbug’ & ‘Freeze out’ which were changed later.
Many of us would even have heard of its Tiger Historical Center & Museum, formed in 1986 that attracts the tourism from all across the world. Here you can find it accommodating the Tiger Museum, the early-day Tiger Post Office with many items of the original posts on the display and localities maintain an outlet of the fine-arts that depicts various cultural and historical wares for sale. It opens from May to September for the visitors.
