Located just 17miles south of King City is the community of Jolon. The town is a part of the Salinas valley and has been popularly used in a number of songs! It is essentially a small community with not much of recreation purposefully created, but when in the bucolic village, one need not be given any physical form of entertainment. Family trips, picnincs, friends hang-outs or even some solace-trip could be enjoyed in your own sense. Yes, there are a few museums and historic sites in Jolon such as the Mission San Antonio de Padua, but apart from these, one could explore by themselves and drive down to close-by wineries and parks.
