La Honda is the historic variant of the modern spelling and is situated in the Santa Cruz Mountains, between the Pacific Coast and Silicon Valley. This is one town which has a rich cultural history and of late, it is known for its wine grape vineyards. Of these, the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon planted by the La Honda Winery are noted ones. Elevated at 390 feet, it offers a great picturesque. The town of La Honda is located nearby the La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve and on the oceanic side of the Coastal Range. Offering a small town ambience, La Honda is certainly very beautiful to stay and visit.
