Driving north along the Highway 101 one might encounter a little community of Leggett which is the second most northern town of Mendocino County and though people generally forget this place, it is a pretty place to be nestled for a while. If you do plan to stop by Leggett, you would find that Leggett can be a nice place to enjoy a great lunch and also take a hike in the state parks of the town. While you make your way through the town, you could visit the Smithe Redwood State Reserve and also the Standish-Hickey State Recreation Area! The picnic area and the Chandelier Drive-through Tree can be good fun. One could surely give a try to stop by here at Leggett.
