Southern Monterey County boasts of a small town comprising of little farms and ranches and vineyards and that is the petite town of Lockwood. Located just six miles east-southeast of Jolon, the Lockwood town encompasses the Lake San Antonio which is famous spot for boaters and wake boarders. The town also encompasses the San Antonio Valley Vineyards plus many more vineyards as well as few olive farms. Rendering a homely atmosphere, the community people are warm and friendly and it is here in Lockwood that you could witness some real agricultural styles and farming. The town bears a rich past which is evident from its streets and architecture; you could also interact with some of the families who have settled here since the town was founded. A true exploratory town in itself!
