Decked on the central coast of California and located just 8 miles west of Salinas is the city of Marina. It is indeed a fine city in itself with the tranquil neighborhoods with the beach pride. There are two grand events here in Marina; one is the Marina Air Faire held in the month of October and would certainly enjoy the experimental and vintage planes here. The other is the Festival of the Winds held in May annually and these are two events one ought not to miss when in Marina. Adding to beauty of the city is the Marina State Beach where one could enjoy amazing thrill in water sports, gliding and paragliding. And then, there is the Fort Ord Dunes State Park, popular for its activities such as fishing, hiking, cycling and horseback riding. One of the most colorful places in the county: Marina!
