Bearing the headquarters of some of the richest and successful companies of the world is the city of Mountain View in the S anta Clara County. When referred to as Silicon Valley, it is Mountain View that you are being guided to. It takes pride in its pedestrian friendly downtown that is centered on the Castro Street; one could find numerous cafes, shops and restaurants here. The crux of the downtown is the Plaza which is shared by the city hall, the Mountain View Public Library and Mountain Center for Performing Arts. Right behind these is the Pioneer Park; the downtown is surely bright and lively. Right on the Castro Street, one can get to enjoy the authentic Mountain View Art and Wine Festival.
