Yet another beautiful unincorporated community of the Napa County is the Oakville. It is quite famous for its grocery shop and nearby wineries. It is not just an ordinary grocery store but a popular one that has also been featured on national televisions and major food and wine magazines as one of the ultimate specialty stores of the country. Items such as grocery, fresh foods, olives, wines, gift baskets , cheese, charcuterie, espresso, sandwiches, baked goods, etc are never out of stock here. Entertaining locations of visit include the Carmelite House of Prayer, the Robert Mondavi Summer Festival (that takes place in June, July and August), etc. Wineries such as Far Niente Winery, Napa Cellars, Napa Wine Company, Nickel and Nickel, Oakville Winegrowers, Robert Mondavi Winery, etc are great to witness. Touring and tasting of wines at established wineries would require an appointment.
