Lying on the flat to a gently rolling terrain, Plymouth is a well known site for the Amador County Fair that started in 1938. It is celebrated in the last weekend of July and people from all across the globe visit to enjoy its horse show, antique equipment, animal judging, music, arts, craft, foods & article etc. You can have a complete family feast at this festival.

It also owns one of the oldest wineries i.e. Sobon Estate Winery and that’s why is also known as the ‘gateway to the Shenandoh Valley”. The ‘Shenandoah valley museum’ is also popular among the folks for its artifacts, farm implements, winemaking tools etc.
