Snuggled to the west of California is a petite cute valley, the Pope Valley. It is encircled by Calistoga in the east and Angwin in the north & it also borders the second largest man-made lake of California, Lake Berryessa. The Pope Valley of the Napa County is a home to an ancient Aetna Springs Resort (a registered historic place). One of California’s hidden jewel and one of the fastest wine growing areas of America hides here in Po pe Valley: the Pope Valley Winery! The winery is very famous here and is truly an amazing spot. It is a three-storey winery which still produces, since its history, several first rate quality of hand-crafted single varietal wines. The recent holdings of this famous winery include Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Petite Verdot, Sangiovese, Chenin Blanc and of course the Merlot.
