The state of California takes pride in its sixth wealthiest towns and that is the pretty town of Portola Valley. Snuggled in the southeastern corner of San Mateo County, Portola Valley is exquisitely amazing to be visited and settled down in. The small town ambience and pleasing weather takes the mind off to a different world. It is precisely located on the eastern slope of the Peninsula Coastal Range of the Santa Cruz Mountains. One could visit the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve which is on the town’s southwest side; the northern side boasts of the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve.
