About halfway between San Jose and San Francisco is a small affluent residential suburb called San Carlos. It is more popular as the ‘City of Good Living’ and renders the apt small towns feel within the modern amenities. The downtown area is vibrant with several shopping opportunities and restaurants. It is also the home to San Carlos Airport and two museums. The San Carlos History Museum that is located downtown is popular for its dedicated display of the town’s rich history and the other, The Hiller Air Museum specializes in the aviation and helicopter history. The Burton Park, the city’s largest park still hosts the ‘Hometown days’ carnival every may and this is one colorful and pulsating carnival. In addition to that, carnival fanatics could also visit the ‘Art and Wine Festival’ of the summers and the ‘Hot Harvest Nights’ as well. Great place in all!
