Popularly called San Lorenzo village, this is a former farmland located in Alameda County in California. San Lorenzo was one of the first scheduled hamlets of the nation with churches, parks and schools. San Lorenzo was renowned for the Lorenzo theatre designed for movies as well as live nights. After its unfortunate closure in 1982 efforts for its revival are on by the Lorenzo theatre foundation. There are a large number of interesting museums and area parks to visit here.
