As a prime part of the grand city Oroville is the stunning settlement of Thermalito. Bordering the majestic Oroville city on two sides, Thermalito also encloses the near-enclave of the city Oroville, with the exception of the thoroughly narrow spit of land connecting Afterbay to the main city of Oroville. Thermalito is hence, also located to the south of Butte County and notable locations here include the Thermalito Forebay South Boat Ramp, the main Thermalito Forebay and the nearby Oroville Wildlife Area. There is also the Thermalito Southern Baptist Church as a landmark of its historic architecture. Owing to its proximity to Oroville, residents of Thermalito often feel satisfied and complete.
