It lies very nearby to the Desolation Wilderness of the county and plays a significant role in rendering snow chains required at the summit. In fact, whenever snow chains are required at the summit, it is the Twin Bridges community that comes to the rescue. Hence, it serves to be an easy access to the Echo Summit as well as snow activities, both adventurous and leisure sports! While the brave can try their hand at skiing and hiking the snow clad mountains, the rest would love playing around in the snow with their kids or spouses or just relaxing on the snow, feeling ‘one’ with nature.
