Cuddled the pointed southeastern corner of the Yuba County is the wondrous town of Wheatland, located just 12.5 miles southeast of Marysville. North Californians most commonly refer it to be the home to the grand Sleep Train Amphitheatre which is an open air venue to conduct musical and other artistic shows. Wheatland also bears a pretty rich past and those interested in exploring the rustic areas of the town would indeed have no difficulty. Apart from that, other recreational areas include the Bear River (this means lots of water fun), the Camp Far West Lake, Nichols Park, Toddler Park, C Street Park, Park Place Park and the gigantic Wheatland Ranch. You would also find pretty handsome eat-outs while in Wheatland and these include Bill’s Place, the City Grill, Redhill Saloon, Roberto’s Restaurant and also Emma Olive’s Mexican and American Food. Shop and have a lot of fun in Wheatland!
